The City of Clinton is located in the heart of Central Illinois and lies along IL-51, IL-54, & IL-10. It is just West of Clinton Lake State Recreation Area and North West of Weldon Springs State Park. Clinton is home to the C. H. Moore House & DeWitt County Museum, and part of the Looking for Lincoln: Abraham Lincoln National Heritage Area. It hosts yearly events such as the Apple and Pork Festival, May Days Festival, Terror on Washington Street, and Music in Mr. Lincoln's Square.
